Why do I need to add template areas

When you have uploaded your nice shiny new template file, you will need to register the areas. These are automatically pulled out from the file, and displayed for you to add at any time.

Add template areas

1. To edit a template, click on the template manager menu item on the top of the page.
2. Select the template you would like to edit by clicking on its icon.
3. All areas contained in the template file will be displayed along side an add button with a selection of insertion point. Make a selection of the desired insertion point.
4. Click the add button.
5. The template area will now be added to the Site Foundry application.
6. You will also need to assign a module to the area before the template can be used.
