The Site Foundry application is based on a MySQL database, and this contains all the textual based data, as well as image linking, and image meta data. It does not include the actual image files.

Restore a database backup

  1. To restore a database backup, click on the site features menu item on the top of the page.
  2. At the bottom of the page, there is a section labelled backup.
  3. Select the backup from the list labelled restore
  4. Click the restore button.
  5. The entire database will be restored back to this point.

NB: Any changes to images (uploads, deletions) made since the backup was created will be lost. The references will still exist.
