What is an administrator role?

To control access to all parts of the core of the application, it is possible to create a variety of roles, with specific permissions attached.

Editing the administrator role title

1. To edit the administrator role title, click on the manage roles/permission item within the manage admins dropdown menu at the top of the page.
2. Click on the title of the role that you want to edit.
3. Click on the input field labelled Role title and enter any changes.
4. To save the data, click on the page, anywhere outside the field that has just been edited.

Tips and tricks

If you click on the field and want to replace all its content, then use <ctrl> 'a' (<command> 'a' on a mac) to select all the content and over-type with any corrections.
