What is a mime type?

Site Foundry pages can take several different forms, defined as a single mime type. Currently this can be

1. HTML
2. XML
3. RSS

Editing a pages mime type

1. To edit a pages mime type, click on the Manage pages menu item on the top of the page.
2. Click on the name of the page that you are looking to edit.
3. Click on the dropdown labelled mime type.
4. Select the mime type you would like the page to assume.
5. The new value will be saved, and the page will now be rendered with the new mime.

Note: You will need to create templates for the new mime type - only the header and footer templates are changed for the new page rendering.
