What it the type?

Each menu item can link to an internal url (i.e. a page created in manage pages), or an external uri (a resource on another domain).

Change the type

1. To change a menu items type, click on the manage menus menu item on the top of the page.
2. Click on the menu's name that you want to edit.
3. Click the Edit all items in this menu which will then take you to a list of all items assigned to this menu.
4. Click on the menu item that you would like to edit.
5. Select from the dropdown labelled type which type you would like the menu item to be - internal, or external.

If you select external, an additional input field will be displayed for you to enter the URI into.
