Amending media?
When updates need to be done to media items, but all it's site linking needs to be maintained (e.g. image updates, move a file to a more logical location); an administrator can click on the media items icon/thumbnail, to edit details of the item such as title, folder location or upload a replacement item.
Editing media items
- To edit a media item, click on the manage media menu item on the top of the page.
- Navigate the the folder that the media item exists in using the dropdown labelled path.
- Click on the items thumbnail/icon to view it's details.
This will the show you details of:
- File name
- File size
- Mime
- File URI
- Usage (modules that have the file linked)
It will allow you to edit:
- Description
- Folder
- Replace media
