What is an administrator name?

The administrator's name is used to identify them in the list of admins. This name is also used in some modules to link an administrator with content created in the management section of the Site Foundry application.

Editing an administrator's name

1. To edit an administrator's name, click on the manage admins menu item on the top of the page.
2. Click on the administrator's name that you want to edit.
3. Click on the input field labelled Admin name and enter any changes.
4. To save the data, click on the page, anywhere outside the field that has just been edited.

Tips and tricks

If you click on the field and want to replace all its content, then use <ctrl> 'a' (<command> 'a' on a mac) to select all the content and over-type with any corrections.
