Why de-activate or delete an administrator?

If you no longer need an administrator to have access to the management section of the application, you can either delete or de-activate them. If they have created content (eg. in a module), then it is best to de-activate the administrator to maintain any references.

De-activating/deleting an administrator

  1. To de-activate/delete an administrator, click on the manage admins menu item on the top of the page.
  2. Click on the administrator's name that you want to edit.
  3. To delete, click the delete button at the bottom of the expanded section. You will be asked to confirm this action.
  4. To de-activate, click on the de-activate button. The button will instantly change to activate - which you can then use to re-activate in the future.
